Conceived around the frog, a figure found in the iconography of pre-Hispanic Colombian goldwork and symbolically associated with water, fertility, and transformation, the Frog Bracelet reinterprets, through Arimatea’s contemporary language, a form deeply connected to the natural world.
At its center, the sculptural figure becomes part of an open structure of continuous lines that encircle the wrist. Two pieces of natural Muzo emerald rough emerge against the golden surface, introducing the inherent irregularity of the stone in contrast with the symmetry of the composition.
A piece where nature, material, and movement converge, establishing a dialogue between the memory of Colombian goldwork and a contemporary form conceived to endure.
