Conceived around the frog, a figure found in the iconography of pre-Hispanic Colombian goldwork and symbolically associated with water, fertility, and transformation, the Frog Necklace reinterprets, through Arimatea’s contemporary language, a form deeply connected to the natural world.
Its sculptural composition constructs the body through organic volumes and restrained symmetry, while a natural Muzo emerald fragment emerges at its center as a fragment of territory. Suspended from a delicate chain, the figure establishes a dialogue between nature, material, and transformation.
A piece where the memory of an ancestral form finds a new presence, conceived to endure.
